Meet Eddie Tejeda, Mayor
of Redlands

In 2016, I became the first resident of north Redlands elected in a citywide election for city council.
This victory meant that our concerns & priorities would finally be addressed. Today, I’m proud to serve as the Mayor of Redlands. I’m also proud of my record in service to north Redlands, District 2. Since 2016, I’ve focused on our priorities for the Economy, CoÍmmunity, & Environment. My work isn’t finished and there’s more to be done. I respectfully ask for your vote on November 05, 2024, to continue working on our priorities as your elected representative. As a full-time teacher for children with moderate to severe learning disabilities, I perform my council duties when my teacher workday is over. I’m honored to work for you and I’m thankful for each day that I get to do it. Thank you!

Who Am I

Hello Redlands. My name is Eddie Tejeda, I am your current Mayor and was elected to serve you on the Redlands City Council in 2016. As your representative, I have kept my promise of focusing on the Economy, Community, and Environment. I work as an educator at a local school district and am proud to call Redlands home with my wife and three adult kids. It would be my honor to continue working for you and making improvements to our quality of life.

01

From The Mall Project to supporting and spreading local businesses, I will be focusing on improving Redlands' economy. I am determined to help Redlands by funding City Facilities/Services to ensure everyone can live happily together.

02

In order to have a secure community, I've decided to tackle several issues. Public safety, addressing the homeless problem, and renter protections are some of the keys to giving Redlands a secure community.

03

Redlands' beautiful land should be protected and maintained. I want to fix/replace broken infrastructure, fund our parks, trails and recreation programs, and enforce measures on development. All this along with my other plans will help Redlands show its gorgeous landscape to everyone that visits and stays.
