Redlands City Council District 2
Who Am I
Hello Redlands! It's been an honor and a privilege to have served the residents of north Redlands since 2016. Government naturally works at a slow pace. Despite this, there have been many improvements throughout District 2. Today, the most pressing issues our city faces are building a new police station, adding two fire stations, and completing the reconstruction of our wastewater treatment plant. More work still needs to be done to ensure that our Quality-of-Life expectations are met every day. It would be an honor to continue working for the residents of District 2 and I respectfully ask for your vote on Tuesday, November 5th. Thank you and God Bless!
Economy: Focusing on our local economic priorities
From The Mall Project to supporting and spreading local businesses, I will be focusing on improving Redlands' economy. I am determined to help Redlands by funding City Facilities/Services to ensure everyone can live happily together.
Community: Focusing on addressing our community’s priorities
In order to have a secure community, I've decided to tackle several issues. Public safety, addressing the homeless problem, and renter protections are some of the keys to giving Redlands a secure community.
Environment: Focusing on our Quality-of-Life priorities
Redlands' beautiful land should be protected and maintained. I want to fix/replace broken infrastructure, fund our parks, trails and recreation programs, and enforce measures on development. All this along with my other plans will help Redlands show its gorgeous landscape to everyone that visits and stays.
Meet Eddie Tejeda, Mayor
of Redlands
In 2016, I became the first resident of north Redlands elected in a citywide election for city council.
This victory meant that our concerns & priorities would finally be addressed.
Today, I’m proud to serve as the Mayor of Redlands. I’m also proud of my record in service to north Redlands, District 2. Since 2016, I’ve focused on our priorities for the Economy, CoÍmmunity, & Environment.
My work isn’t finished and there’s more to be done. I respectfully ask for your vote on November 05, 2024, to continue working on our priorities as your elected representative.
As a full-time teacher for children with moderate to severe learning disabilities, I perform my council duties when my teacher workday is over. I’m honored to work for you and I’m thankful for each day that I get to do it. Thank you!
